IIT Research Day poster competition is an annual event organized by the IIT Office of Research The competition is divided into graduate and undergraduate tracks and includes students from various academic departments. Each department chooses the best researches/posters, and then asks them to participate in this competition.
Along with 48 other posters, my team and I participated yesterday in that competition. Our project was titled: “RF measurements to support Dynamic Radio Spectrum sharing”. We had to present our work for the entire semester within just a few minutes to all the judges and visitors who stopped by our booth yesterday. After three hours, the winners had been announced! My team and I got the first place award for undergrad division. Obviously, I feel super happy about it. And I hope we can help in organizing something like that in the Syrian schools soon, because such a competition is an amazing experience for students, and an extraordinary opportunity for them to show their work.
